Compressed Air Propeller Engine
Abstract
The subject of this invention is implementation of the Tesla's friction based disk stack turbine, driven by compressed air in self-sustained operation mode, as propeller engine. The rotor of the engine is coupled to the propeller over automatic power transmission system. Only at start-up additional energy has to be introduced into the system, in order to establish an self-sustained operation mode. The maximal number of revolving per time unit of the engine must be limited.
Description
While an air inlets of the engine are located behind the propeller, which is coupled over the gear to the engine, the closed loop has been established. The faster propeller is going to revolve on its axes, the higher is going to be an air pressure to an air inlets of the engine behind the propeller. The faster is going to be accelerated the air along the disk rotor of the engine, the faster is rotor going to spin on its axes. As far as the rotor of the engine starts to spin, an output air stream is going to intensify, which is going to cause the increasing of vacuum intensity at an air outlet, causing in turn additional speed-up of the air, thus the rotor of the engine is going to speed-up.

The described process represents the self sustained operation mode, which needs some relatively small initializing power to start. After the initialization, the engine is going to speed-up, until the maximal speed limit, which must be realized. The number of turns of rotor of the engine is limited through an air inflow, and the load on its shaft. Managing this two variables we would be able to slow down the rotor speed. This is essential of security reasons, to introduce some automatically regulation of maximal speed.
Controlling the power transmission, we are going to control the speed of the propeller, thus the speed of an aircraft. Initialization could be introduced on several different ways, such as: using a compressed air from on-board press air tank, using electric motor, using bike transmission system to start-up the engine until the self-sustained mode is established.
Conclusion
It would be relatively easy to develop a light aircraft with propeller propulsion engine which running in self-sustained operation mode using an air inflow. The mechanical coupling of engine shaft with propeller over power transmission control could be easy realized. The limiting of the maximal speed must be very carefully designed, to avoid the damage. Measurement of the speed is necessary to establish, to allow for visual control along with automatically regulating an air inflow, closing an air inlets. Additional load have to be added to the shaft in order to gradually stop the engine spinning. This load should not be activate before an air inlets are completely closed.
Some dynamo could be connected to the gear in order to allow for generating sufficient power to supply the standard devices and cockpit. The system could be implemented to the light aircraft until one tone of take-off weight. Mechanical power of engine could be project to be between 10 and 20 kW. The lower power is related to more security. It would be possible to implement the system on larger aircraft, with two or even four propeller engines.
Appendix
In this paper we have described the principles of implementing the closed loop self-sustained systems. The model could be in generally implemented at all levels of our existence. Only an implementations which mach the harmony with multilevel universal oscillations are going to be additional supported accordingly to the principle of resonance. Dissonant systems which mismatch the harmony, are going to be suppressed. Therefore, regardless what we have done until recently, as far as we recognize what's wrong, we should search for alternatives, in order to stop repeating this what's wrong and start to implement this what's better. This is the way how to earn forgiveness.
The system described could be also based on turbines with blades. Advantage would be in simple implementation of security, compared to bladeless turbines, which maximal speed must be explicitly slowed down. Disadvantage lies in fact that for the same size, the maximal extracted power is far less by turbines with blades, then by bladeless turbines. The bladeless turbines are the turbines of 21th century, while the reason of invention of them was to significantly improve turbines and motors in their efficiency.
In this paper suggested improvement has grown up from intention to highlight the beginning of development through pioneers inventors such as Nikola Tesla, who invented almost everything useful related to energy, and brothers Wright, the inventors of aircraft. Tesla's turbine suggested to be preferable for this particular purpose, was invented for our time, along with numerous others inventions of the same inventor. Only one third of his numerous patents is implemented widely, so that there is nearly not a single device related to electricity all over the world, which not utilize at least one of his inventions. Two thirds of his patents, have origin in his advanced period of creative work, as he use to talk about himself, were unfortunately not implemented until recently. There is a huge potential in rediscovering a Tesla's not implementing patents, and to utilize them on good for everyone.
Therefore realizing a prototype of an aircraft based on described principles, could be presented as performance. Of this reasons, the idea was to integrate the bicycle mechanics to start up an aircraft, despite the matter of fact that it would be more simple to use a compressed air, since the brothers
Wright, inventors of aircraft were the bicycle mechanics. The bicycle mechanic could be use as reserve start-up system for an aircraft. The show would have educating purpose, while it is necessary to seed the principles of genius simplicity along with universal schema of self-sustained model within the human mind worldwide. Understanding of simple principles on the concrete example, is going to help reimplementing the model to many other areas of human activity worldwide. The main reason for urgency and necessity of implementing an universal self-sustained model widely, lies in the matter of fact that it could significantly reduce the waste in general. Nowadays, the human activities are magnifying the waste, so there is a real potential to optimize the system, implementing a methods to avoid producing wastes. In doing so, we are going to became more efficient, through implementing a closed loop as controlled backup to get the best results for lowest investment. This would improve the business along with profit, but also the harmony of all life. Thus, although the invention of mechanical propeller aircraft seems to be a kind of step back in past, turning back to the very beginning of an technology age, the simplicity combined with efficiency push it on the top of practical applicable inventions.
